The Impact of Technological Solutions on the Project Cycle, Digital Transformation and Sustainability in Management

Article ABSTRACT
In today's global and rapidly changing environment, technological transformation and the implementation of digital solutions play a pivotal role in contemporary project management practices. The aim of this research is a detailed analysis of how technological instruments influence all stages of the project cycle and what role they have in ensuring organizational sustainability, efficiency, and innovative development.
The research employs a mixed methodology, which includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as an in-depth review of secondary data (local and international studies, policy documents). Quantitative data were collected via an online questionnaire, which showed that 82% of organizations utilize digital tools in project management. The qualitative analysis, conducted through open-ended questions, highlights key challenges, such as the lack of technical skills and financial resource constraints.
The findings indicate that the integration of digital platforms, Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, and automation significantly increases process transparency, reduces decision-making time, and strengthens team coordination, thereby facilitating strategic decisions. Nevertheless, the integration of sustainability principles in project management remains a current challenge.
The study emphasizes the importance of partnerships and encourages organizations to foster an innovation-oriented culture that allows employees to actively test and implement new ideas. The scientific value of this work lies in offering an integrated analytical model that connects classical project management approaches with digital innovations.
The practical results demonstrate that the purposeful use of technological solutions is an essential requirement for enhancing project efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring long-term sustainability. Furthermore, the paper confirms that digital transformation is no longer just an optional tool but an inevitable requirement for the successful execution of modern projects and the provision of long-term sustainability.
